Nansuikaku

Nansuikaku is a 29-room onsen ryokan beside the Inunaki River in Wakita Onsen, Miyawaka. Its three connected buildings, tatami-floored common areas, seasonal kaiseki dining and varied rooms make it suited to a quiet overnight stay between Fukuoka and Kitakyushu.

Rooms and bathing
Room types include accommodation with an open-air bath, a view bath or a cypress-wood indoor bath, as well as simpler rooms with or without a private bathroom. The ryokan has communal baths and a reservable family bath. Separate affiliated facilities nearby include Yunozen-no-Sato open-air baths and Hidamari family baths.
Access
The official guide estimates about 40 minutes by car from Hakata and about 50 minutes from Kokura. A car or taxi is practical because the ryokan is in the Wakita Onsen countryside. Confirm transport with the property if you will not be driving.
Booking tips
Check whether your room has a private bath, where meals are served and whether access to any separate day-use bath is included. Day-use meals, private rooms and bathing plans have their own prices and availability, so reserve and confirm the latest conditions directly.
